Network & Storage:

Local Storage Port: The event retrieval port if local storage drives are recording on the backup bridge. This port may need to be port forwarded in the client's router, in order to retrieve events outside of the local area network.

Global Connection: The primary method to connect to the local storage drives for event retrieval for all users.

Internal IP Address: Forces a local area network connection for all users on the specified LAN adapter (Two adapters appear if there is a separate network for the camera network.)

External IP Address: Forces a wide area network connection for all users using the public IP address. (Port forwarding may be required.)

Custom IP or DDNS Address: Forces a connection for all users using a specified IP or DDNS address. (Port forwarding may be required.)

LAN Client Connection: When enabled, bypasses the global connection and forces a local area network for the user on their workstation. (Two adapters appear if there is a separate network for the camera network.)

Primary Storage Routing: The default storage connectivity for event retrieval.

RPS API User: The user name to make use for advanced API functions for the remote playback service.(Removing will use basic functions.)

RPS API ID: The ID to make use for advanced API functions for the remote playback service. (Removing will use basic functions.)

Select 'Update' when you are done making changes.

 

Important Info:

Changes made to the backup bridge, may take several minutes or longer to take affect on the device.

Some device changes may require your password for approval.
