Steps to Change Secure Series Camera Compression to H.264
The below steps are needed in order to connect your camera to the Secure 4ch NVR attached with your order. Please log into camera first, default username is “admin” and default password are “1234567u”, from there it will prompt you to change, please do so and follow below steps. If you do not do this first, the camera will not connect to the NVR.
- Log into camera with default credentials
- Change password
- Click on CONFIGURATION across top
- Click STREAM on the left
- Click BASE STREAM below
- You will see STREAM ID and VIDEO ENCODE TYPE. For STREAM ID 1 change the VIDEO ENCODE TYPE TO H.264 and hit APPLY.
- Then change STREAM ID to 2, change VIDEO ENCODE TYPE TO H.264 and hit APPLY.
- Then change STREAM ID to 3, change VIDEO ENCODE TYPE TO H.264 and hit APPLY.
