Attribute Search on Paramont & Vision Series NVRs | Find Vehicles and People Fast

Stop scrolling through hundreds of snapshots. Attribute Search lets you filter AI results by what a vehicle or person actually looks like, so you land on the right clip in seconds. Demonstrated here on a Paramont Series NVR — the same feature is available on Vision Series NVRs. In this video:

• Running an AI Search for vehicles and narrowing results by color, brand, and vehicle type
• Reviewing the attribute list on any snapshot to confirm the match
• Jumping straight to playback, extending the clip before and after, and exporting or backing up
• Pulling vehicle attributes from license plate recognition cameras alongside plate results

Requirements
Attribute Search requires supported AI cameras, NVR firmware 1.4.10 or later, and Video Metadata enabled in the AI menu. Metadata must be turned on for each channel individually, not once globally.

Paramont Series cameras: Illuminate, 4MP/6MP/8MP/12MP NH-AI, and AIWLT. LC3 models are not supported. Confirm attribute support on the current spec sheet before ordering. Vision Series recorders (VN4A / VN5A) support attribute search with AIRBT and AIST cameras. Attribute Search works alongside intrusion zones, line crossing, and the rest of the AI Search toolset.

How to Set Up the White light Trigger on Paramont Cameras | Smart Supplemental Light

Have Paramont cameras with white lights that never seem to turn on? By default, the zone and detection targets aren't configured, so the cameras just sit in IR black-and-white all night. This walkthrough shows you how to set the trigger up through the NVR so the white light kicks on — and the image switches to color — the moment a person or vehicle enters your zone.

• Getting to Smart Supplemental Light in the web UI or local monitor display
• Drawing a trigger zone (up to four per camera)
• Choosing what sets it off: people, vehicles, or non-motor vehicles

Save a Favorite Camera View | Paramont App

Set up your cameras exactly how you want them and have the Paramont app open to that view every time. In this video we cover:

Cameras looking soft or blurry when you open the Paramont app? You're most likely viewing a low-definition stream. This quick tutorial shows you how to switch to Super Definition and — just as importantly — how to stop the app from automatically dropping you back down on a slow connection. In this video:

• Double-tap a camera to go full screen and reveal the HD icon
• Set your stream to Super Definition
• Disable Resolution Adaption under Menu › Local so your HD setting sticks
• Why LTE and weak Wi-Fi cause the app to downgrade quality on its own
